Blaze ravages Swat village, 11 homes burnt, no Injuries

Eleven Houses Destroyed in Swat Village Fire; Rescue Efforts Hampered by Resource Shortages

SWAT:A devastating fire broke out in the village of Aain, located in the Bahrain Tehsil of Swat, reducing eleven houses to ashes. The blaze, which intensified rapidly, completely destroyed the roofs and belongings of the affected homes, leaving residents with significant financial losses.

Rescue 1122 personnel rushed to the scene immediately after the incident was reported and initiated firefighting operations. Local residents also joined efforts to control the fire, but the intensity of the flames overwhelmed their attempts. Despite two hours of relentless efforts, the fire remained uncontrolled at the time of reporting.

Local residents highlighted the lack of adequate firefighting resources in the area, which has consistently hindered effective responses to such emergencies. The district administration of Swat has pledged immediate assistance to the families affected by the fire.

In a separate incident in Peshawar, a fire broke out in a hotel near Warsak Road Stop. Rescue 1122 teams responded promptly, bringing the blaze under control within 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, in Bajaur, a fire erupted in a pile of dry wood at Laghrai Bazaar Mamond. Rescue 1122 Bajaur’s fire team swiftly contained the fire, preventing it from spreading further.

The incidents underscore the urgent need for enhanced firefighting resources and infrastructure across the region to mitigate the impact of such disasters.
