Buner’s resident gunned down in Peshawar week before his wedding

PESHAWAR: A resident of Buner district was gunned down by unknown assailants at Phase 6, in the limits of Tatara police station of Peshawar city here on Friday. The young man’s wedding ceremony was scheduled for April 6 next month.

According to the police, Abrarullah, a resident of Buner, was killed by unknown suspects.

As soon as the incident was reported, the police reached the spot and shifted the body to the hospital for post-mortem, while empty shells and other evidence were collected from the scene. Surprisingly, the deceased had his valuable iPhone and thousands of rupees in cash, which raises suspicions that the reason for the murder may not be robbery but some other factor.

A case has been registered against unknown suspects on the complaint of the deceased’s uncle Mohabbat Khan, and an investigation has been started from various angles.

Abrarullah was associated with the nursing sector in Saudi Arabia and had recently come to Pakistan for his wedding. His wedding was scheduled for April 6.
