Bushra Bibi wants ‘Farah Gogi’ as CM Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, says Amir Muqam

Amir Muqam vows to bring Punjab-style reforms to KP

KARACHI: Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan, SAFRON, and President of PML-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engineer Amir Muqam, stated on Sunday that Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif at the federal level and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif in Punjab, both are performing tremendously for the country and Punjab respectively.

Addressing the workers and leadership of PML-N Sindh, Engr Amir Muqam said that by sacrificing politics for Pakistan, Quaid former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have proven that they are patriotic, courageous and willing to make every sacrifice for the public’s interest.

Engr Amir Muqam stated that PML-N saved Pakistan from economic default and foiled conspiracies to incite civil war in the country.

He added that people in other provinces are praying to have a Chief Minister like Maryam Nawaz Sharif after witnessing her hard work and performance.

“We are proud of the capabilities of our security forces,” said Engr Amir Muqam.

He further stated that officers and soldiers of the Pakistan Armed Forces are tirelessly protecting the nation, day and night, without regard for their own lives. The nation salutes the unwavering commitment of its brave forces to safeguard the country.

Engr Amir Muqam remarked that the person who tried to halt Pakistan’s economic aid by writing letters is now behind the bars in Adiala Jail.

He stated that those who used to attack others’ homes are now fighting among themselves. PTI members will now continue to yearn for replies to their letters. The politics of letters has failed just like their protests.

Engr Amir Muqam stated that “Jaloo Pinki Pirni” wants “Farah Gogi” as Chief Minister in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, there is a competition over who can give more donations and the highest donor is promised a bigger position.

He predicted that after Eid, PTI’s protest call will face the same fate as their letter politics. “The fake ‘Sadiq’ and ‘Ameen’ not only stole from the Toshakhana but also filled their pockets,” he said.

He added that even the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa did not attend the PTI rally in Swabi on February 8.

Engr Amir Muqam mentioned that Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif neither took any salary nor did he keep expensive foreign gifts and vehicles but submitted them to the Toshakhana.

Earlier, while addressing Afghan refugees and the Pakistani community at the Commissionerate for Afghan Refugees in Karachi, Engr Amir Muqam clarified that no action is being taken against registered Afghan refugees.

He explained that changes are occurring in refugee policies worldwide. Recently, a campaign has been launched in Pakistan against undocumented individuals due to security concerns, not discrimination.

He assured that the government will provide all possible support and protection to refugees within the legal framework.

He emphasized that Pakistan stands with Afghan refugees despite all challenges but urged the international community to fulfill its responsibilities.

Engr Amir Muqam stressed the need for resettling Afghan refugees in third countries and taking serious steps to establish lasting peace in Afghanistan.

He called for supporting host communities that have sheltered refugees for decades, stating that it’s not only Pakistan’s responsibility but a collective duty of the international community.

He reiterated that Pakistan stands with its Afghan refugee brothers and will continue to do so.

Engr Amir Muqam appealed to the international community to acknowledge Pakistan’s sacrifices and find long-term solutions for refugees.

He emphasized the importance of working together for peace, stability and a dignified future.

He noted that Pakistan has maintained traditions of hospitality, brotherhood and compassion.

He added, “Afghan refugees are not just our guests but our brothers, and for the past four decades, we have shared our land, resources, and livelihoods with them.”

Engr Amir Muqam stated that the Ministry of SAFRON is ensuring the protection and welfare of refugees, whether in camps or outside.

He assured that refugees have access to education, healthcare and other essential services.
