WANA: Cadet College Wana in South Waziristan Lower marked Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day with vibrant celebrations matching the national spirit.
The college glowed with colorful lights and spectacular fireworks. During the ceremony, cadets expressed profound love for Pakistan, honoring the sacrifices that secured independence. They declared Pakistan now stands as a strong, recognized state.
Cadets stated their joy was “doubled” this year by celebrating Independence Day while also “thwarting the enemy’s designs.” They pledged unwavering duty to defend Pakistan as an “Islamic fortress,” ready to sacrifice for their countrymen’s safety and the nation’s progress.
Emphasizing national unity and hard work, they vowed to elevate Pakistan’s prosperity. Cadets also highlighted global recognition of Pakistan’s strong military (Army, Navy, Air Force) and its prominent stature. They dedicated the celebrations to the nation’s martyrs.
The College administration noted this was the most enthusiastically celebrated Independence Day at the institution and hoped future celebrations would match this passion.
