Cambodia Nominates Donald Trump for Nobel Peace Prize

Cambodia has officially nominated US President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, citing his role in preventing a potential war between Cambodia and Thailand.

Prime Minister Hun Sen announced the nomination at a press conference, praising Trump’s “decisive and historic” intervention during heightened border tensions between the two Southeast Asian nations. He credited Trump with helping broker a ceasefire and reviving diplomatic talks, which eventually led to a written peace agreement.

“If not for President Trump’s timely involvement, this region could have been engulfed in conflict,” Hun Sen stated. Cambodia’s nomination letter to the Nobel Committee highlighted Trump’s contributions to international peacekeeping efforts.

The move has drawn global attention, with supporters applauding Trump’s diplomacy while critics question the motivations behind the nomination.
