New players, same game: ANP warns of superpowers new war on KP, Balochistan soil PESHAWAR: Awami National Party Chief Aimal Wali Khan warned that a new world war between China and America is being prepared on the land of Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. In a statement, he urged the nation and state to stay alert, stating that new players have entered the game, but the goal remains the same—dragging their children into another foreign war. Recalling the past war between America and Russia, he said that his party had always called it ‘fasad’, not jihad. He also criticised religious leaders who once pushed children into war in the name of jihad but now call it ‘fasad’. He stressed that violence never solves problems; it only worsens them. He urged people to rely on politics, not force, and to uphold non-violence as their guiding principle. Aimal Wali Khan called for trust and dialogue to resolve internal conflicts. He insisted that separatist movements must be addressed through political means. He urged seriousness in government’s approach tackling these issues. He emphasised the need to prioritize peace and ensure transparency in policies. He demanded open discussions in parliament and public trust in decision-making. He warned that when the judiciary, constitution, and institutions become hostage, non-state actors exploit the situation. He asserted that terrorism must have no place in the country, and the state must remove public concerns. He made it clear that the ANP will never support violence. He vowed to continue advocating for peace.
