A delegation from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Hazara Division Bar recently met with Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi to discuss the challenges faced by lawyers and litigants in the Hazara region. During the meeting, the Chief Justice reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring access to justice for all and announced plans to visit remote areas of the KP Hazara Division to better understand the issues on the ground.

In his remarks, Chief Justice Afridi emphasized the importance of collaboration between the bench and the bar, stating that the collective wisdom of both is essential for a robust judicial system. He highlighted that an effective justice system cannot function without the active cooperation and support of the legal community.

The Chief Justice also pointed out the significance of training programs offered by the Federal Judicial Academy, urging lawyers from the Hazara Division to take advantage of these judicial training courses to enhance their professional skills.

During the meeting, the delegation presented their concerns, and the Chief Justice assured them of his commitment to resolving these issues, underscoring the judiciary’s dedication to improving the justice delivery system in the region.
