SHANGLA: A child was killed and five others were injured when a jeep hit a family sitting outside the Shaheed Pir Muhammad Khan hospital in Aloch Puran.
According to the Rescue 1122, a jeep went out of control after the brakes allegedly failed and hit a family, as a result, a child died, and five other people were injured.
The rescue official said the victims were immediately shifted to the hospital, from where the injured were referred to a hospital in Swat for further treatment.
Police said that they had lodged an FIR against the driver and taken him into custody, who was a resident of Kuz Paw, and further interrogation continued into the incident.
Police identified the family residents of Algiram Sundvi of Puran tehsil.
