China vows ironclad defense support for Pakistan against aggression: diploamat Victor Gao

Chinese policy expert and former diplomat Victor Gao reaffirmed China’s unwavering commitment to defend Pakistan if it faces external aggression, calling the two nations “all-weather partners and ironclad allies.” In an interview with Indian media, Gao emphasized that China would “always stand by Pakistan” to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity, stressing their decades-long strategic bond.

Gao expressed deep concern over escalating India-Pakistan tensions, urging both nuclear-armed neighbors to exercise “maximum restraint” and prioritize dialogue to avoid conflict. He also addressed attacks on Chinese citizens in Pakistan, demanding thorough investigations to uncover perpetrators and hidden forces behind such acts.
