RAWALPINDI: The funeral prayers of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir’s mother was held here at Rawalpindi on Tuesday. Army Chief General Asim Munir himself led the funeral prayers for his mother.
The funeral prayers of Army Chief General Asim Munir’s mother were offered at the Race Course Ground in Rawalpindi, which was attended by President of Pakistan Ali Asif Zardari, Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Shahbaz Sharif, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Anwarul Haq, former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif, and important political figures, diplomats and senior military officials.
