The Anti-Terrorism Court has rejected the physical remand request of the accused Sher Shah, arrested in the Jinnah House attack case. The court rejected the police’s request and sent the accused to jail on judicial remand.
According to a news report, Lahore Police Station, Sarwar Road Police, has registered a case against Sher Shah in the Jinnah House case. The Anti-Terrorism Court has made progress in the case by rejecting the police’s request for further physical remand.
Talking to the media outside the court, PTI leader Salman Akram Raja said that he will file a bail application for Sher Shah today or tomorrow. He clarified that Aleema Bibi has already said that she has a sibling relationship with Salman Akram Raja and that the talk of differences is not true.
Salman Akram Raja termed the decision not to participate in the by-elections in Punjab as a decision of the founder of PTI, saying that these elections are artificial and are strengthening the artificial assembly. This case has become the centre of considerable attention from the political and legal point of view, and further developments are expected in the coming days.
