Court suspends arrest warrant of KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur

PESHAWAR: The local court on Monday suspended the arrest warrant of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and directed him to affair in the relevant court.

Justice Ijaz Anwar and Justice Dr. Khurshid Iqbal heard the petition filed by the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, for the suspension of the arrest warrant of the Islamabad local court. The court suspended the arrest warrant of the Chief Minister.The court directed Ali Amin Gandapur to appear in the relevant court. A local court in Islamabad has issued an arrest warrant for the Chief Minister. On July 19, 2025, the Senior Civil Judge Islamabad issued the arrest warrant for the Chief Minister. The court ordered the Chief Minister to be produced on July 21; however to due to various engagements, the Chief Minister could not appear, excusing that they received the court order after the scheduled date.

His lawyer, Bashir Khan Wazir Advocate, said that the petitioner has been appearing in the courts, but there are many other cases registered against the Chief Minister, and he is also appearing in them. Bashir Khan Wazir, Advocate.

The Chief Minister is the Chief Executive of the province, and in the current situation, it is not possible to appear in every court, says Bashir Khan Wazir, Advocate.
