CTD, Intelligence agencies eliminate four terrorists in Pishin QUETTA: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and security agencies eliminated four key terrorists associated with the militant group "Fitna Al-Hindustan" in a joint operation conducted in the Pishin district of Balochistan. CTD spokesperson told local media that the operation was launched after a credible intelligence tip-off. A fierce exchange of gunfire took place during the raid, resulting in the deaths of the four militants. He said that the killed terrorists were involved in multiple heinous crimes across Balochistan, including an attack on a Frontier Corps truck on Chaman Road, the targeted killing of a Levies officer in Pishin, and assaults on police personnel. Weapons and explosive materials recovered from the scene include two Kalashnikov rifles, two 9mm pistols, two hand grenades, one detonator, a prima cord, and other bomb-making materials indicating preparations for future terrorist activities. Meanwhile, Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti expressed satisfaction over the successful operation in Akalzai Yaro and lauded the performance of the CTD. CM Bugti stated that the timely action of the CTD thwarted a major terrorist plot. CM emphasized that the people of Balochistan stand firmly with the security forces in defeating terrorism.
