LOWER DIR: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) police have arrested three militants linked to the banned terrorist outfit.
The personnel of the CTD carried out a raid in in Mian Khan Khuwar, in the limits of the Munda Police Station and arrested three terrorists. The suspected terrorists were identified as Asghar, Noor Saeed, and Fazlur Rehman.
CTD officials say initial investigations confirm the trio’s affiliation with Jaish-e-Mohammad.
During the raid, authorities recovered three hand grenades, two electrical detonators, four primer cords, wires, mobile phones, SIM cards, and other items.
Earlier today, a joint operation by the CTD and local police took place in Ratta Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan. Based on intelligence, police raided a location where suspicious individuals opened fire prompting response from the police. As a result, one attacker was killed during the exchange of gunfire.
