Indian Army College of Nursing Website Hacked by Cyber-Hacktivist Group “Team Insane PK” Following Pahalgam Attack
The website of the Indian Army College of Nursing has been hacked by the cyber-hacktivist group “Team Insane PK” in retaliation for the recent Pahalgam attack in Indian-occupied Kashmir, which has escalated tensions between India and Pakistan.
On Friday, the hackers took down the official website of the Indian Army College of Nursing, leaving behind a message that read: “YOU ARE HACKED!!! TEAM INSANE PK.”
According to reports, Team Insane PK is believed to be responsible for a series of Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks and other cyberattacks targeting Indian government websites and infrastructure. DDoS attacks overwhelm a network with traffic, making it inaccessible—a tactic frequently used in cyber warfare.
According to sources, the Indian Army claimed the hacktivist group has been actively targeting India’s digital infrastructure, including cyberspace and businesses, since early 2023. The attack on the Indian Army College of Nursing website marks a significant breach of its cybersecurity, especially considering the nature of the target.
