Damaged electricity transmission line pose imminent danger to pedestrians in Charsadda

CHARSADDA: Due to the negligence of WAPDA and TMA employees, the high transmission wires are lying in drainage water in Charsadda, which poses an imminent danger to children and pedestrians Chalgazi Baba area of Charsadda.

Local people informed Pakhtun Digital that despite of complains TMA Charsadda and WAPDA employees not visiting the area to resolve this long pending issue. He said this issue have not only blocked the drainage lines but damaged electricity line has further endangered the lives of the people.

They said that it is the responsibility of the WAPDA clerks to visit different places in the rainy season to check the electricity lines passing through different areas. They said that there is a high voltage current, and if anyone touches the line, it would cause huge human losses for the dwellers.

They demanded local WAPDA employees and the Town Municipal administration to visit the area and restore the drainage line and electricity supply to the town. They said that if their demand was not heeded, they would protest in front of DC office.
