DI KHAN: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has said that the ‘Derajat festival’ showcased peaceful DI Khan. Some people give the impression that people do not leave their homes after sunset in Dera Ismail Khan, but the “Derajat festival” has proven this to be wrong.
The closing ceremony of the Derajat Off-Road Challenging Jeep Rally was held in Dera Ismail Khan, in which Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur was the chief guest.
Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, while addressing the closing ceremony of the Off-Road Jeep Rally, said that Dera Ismail Khan was a peaceful area, but unfortunately, the situation in Dera had been presented in a negative way in the media.
He said that some people give the impression that people do not leave their homes after sunset in Dera, but the “Derajat festival” has proven that this is completely wrong.
Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said that although there were concerns about terrorism in the region, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police had proven that it was capable of dealing with every challenge by establishing peace.

The Chief Minister said that according to the policies of the founder PTI in the province, all work is being done on merit, since their government assumed power, no abuse or complaint has come to light against the government.
Appreciating the services of the police and Rescue 1122 for the successful organisation of the event, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur said that these institutions played a key role in making this event a success. He also announced a reward of Rs 10,000 each for the police and rescue personnel.
