PESHAWAR: Unknown assailants on Friday shot dead a doctor inside his clinic, his brother lodged an FIR against unknown armed men.
Slain doctor brother stated to police that his brother, doctor Abdul Basit, was killed by unknown armed men and they had no personal enmity.
The incident took place at the Sufaid Dheri area of Peshawar.
The victim’s brother Waqar Khan said in a report filed with the police that he received information that his brother had been seriously injured in the firing, after which he was shifted to KTH Hospital in a critical condition, but he succumbed to his injuries.
Waqar Khan says that he has no enmity with anyone, so a case should be registered against the unknown accused. According to the police, an FIR has been registered in the incident and further investigation is underway.
