NOSHEHRA: Two separate shooting incidents in the Pabbi tehsil of Nowshera district resulted in multiple deaths on Saturday.
In the first incident, a violent domestic dispute turned deadly in Tetara village. Aamir, attempting to reconcile with his angry wife, engaged in a heated argument with her family. During the altercation, Aamir and his brothers opened fire. The gunfire killed Aamir’s wife, mother-in-law, and brother-in-law instantly. A maternal uncle was critically injured and later died at a Peshawar hospital.
Police, led by DSP Adnan Azam and DPO Ahmed Shah, responded swiftly. The bodies were moved to Mian Rashid Shaheed Hospital Pabbi for post-mortem examinations. Akbarpura police have registered a case and launched a manhunt to apprehend Aamir and his brothers.
In a second, unrelated tragedy in Dagi , a 12-year-old boy, Shahzad, died after accidentally shooting himself. Police reported that Shahzad was playing with his elder brother’s pistol when it discharged, fatally wounding him on the spot. Local police have registered a case under Section 174 CrPC (inquest proceedings) and handed the boy’s body to his family after a post-mortem. An investigation into this accidental death is underway.
