Drone used for the first time in the country’s history to identify flood victims

‎On the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, drone technology is being successfully used for the first time in the country’s history to identify flood victims.

‎After identifying flood victims in difficult and remote areas using thermal imaging drones in various cities, a successful rescue operation has been carried out. Surveillance operations are also underway in flood-affected areas with the help of drone cameras.

‎In Jhang, people and livestock trapped in flood waters are being searched with the help of drones.

‎Thermal imaging cameras have identified five people and livestock trapped in flood waters.

‎After tracing the location, the rescue team immediately reached the flood-affected area and safely evacuated all five people and livestock and shifted them to a safe place.

‎Thermal imaging drone cameras have also been used in flood-affected areas of the river belt of Bahawalnagar.

‎People and livestock trapped in flood waters were easily identified through thermal imaging drone cameras.
