Dubai hosts massive Pakistan Day event: 60,000 participants

A spectacular event honoring Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day will take place at Expo City Dubai on August 10, with over 60,000 participants expected to join. Organized under "Emirates Loves Pakistan", the ceremony is supported by the Pakistan Association Dubai (PAD) and Dubai Police.

A Cultural Extravaganza

The celebration will showcase Pakistan’s rich heritage through Sufi music, folk dances, and fine arts. Renowned artists like Sahir Ali Bagga, Natasha Baig, and Yousuf Bashir Qureshi will perform, while community leaders will be honored for their contributions.

Strengthening Pak-UAE Ties

Special guests include Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan (UAE Minister of Tolerance) and Pakistani Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, reflecting the strong diplomatic bond between the two nations. Over the past 50+ years, the UAE has invested $10 billion in Pakistan, reinforcing economic and cultural ties.
