SWAT: Earthquakes tremors were felt in Swat and its surroundings, causing panic among the citizens.
According to the Seismological Center, the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded as 4.2 on the Richter scale, while its epicenter was about 155 kilometers below the surface of the earth.
The Seismological Center has confirmed that the epicenter of the earthquake was in the Hindu Kush mountain range. The earthquake tremors have caused concern among the locals, but no reports of any loss of life or property have been received so far.
Experts say that such medium-sized earthquakes are common and citizens are advised to leave their homes to avoid any untoward incident. Authorities have urged the public not to listen to any rumors and follow the instructions of relief agencies.
