BUNER: An eight-year-old boy was killed and four other members of the same family were injured, while nine cattle perished as a result of Lightning in two separate areas of Buner between midnight on Monday and Tuesday.
The first incident occurred in the Gero area, when the house of a poor person, Malang, was hit by lightning in Gero village of Buner. The incident resulted martyrdom of his eight-year-old son and four other family members. The injured were rushed to the District Headquarter Hospital, Daggar. The Injured were provided emergency medical treatment, as some of the injured are in serious condition.
Another incident occurred in the Gowardara area when lightning hit a livestock room where nine cattle, including cows and buffaloes were died. The local people rushed to the house and supported the affected family in the rescue operation.
The heavy downpour on Tuesday night caused fear and panic among the residents as the rain duration was lasted for four hours without any gap. The children and women were praying in houses for control rain.
It is to mentioning here that after August 15 Cloud burst hit Several areas of Pirbaba which caused huge losses in Beshoni village, where more than 300 people were martyred as a result of the tragic incident.
