Pakistan and Belarus have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at mutual cooperation in providing employment opportunities for skilled Pakistani workers. The agreement was signed by Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Chaudhry Salik Hussain and Belarusian Interior Minister Ivan Kubrakov, with Minister of State for Interior Aun Chaudhry and Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry also in attendance.

This MoU outlines collaborative efforts to generate job opportunities in Belarus, focusing initially on the textile, energy, and construction sectors. A robust framework will be established to ensure the rights and protection of Pakistani workers.

Additionally, labour mobility corridors will be created to facilitate systematic professional training and recruitment. Pilot programs will be initiated to help Pakistanis travelling to Belarus by teaching the language and enhancing their professional skills.

Migrant Resource Centres will be established to provide better guidance for those seeking employment abroad. Selected workers will also have the option to relocate to Belarus with their families. A joint technical group will be formed to oversee the implementation of this agreement.
