Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has said that if even one opposition member in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly exceeds the government members, then the opposition has the constitutional right to bring a no-confidence motion.
According to V News, while talking to the media, he said that the opposition currently has 52 seats in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, while 30 members are independent in the provincial assembly. If the opposition gains a numerical advantage on any day, we will exercise our democratic right to present a no-confidence motion.
He said that if the opposition gets a majority in the federal government or in Punjab, it can bring a no-confidence motion. We have already brought a no-confidence motion in the National Assembly. No one can stop us from this constitutional right.
Talking about political matters, Faisal Karim Kundi said that we are political people; we never say that we will not shake hands with anyone or share in joy and sorrow. Many of our meetings are on camera, and many are off the record.
Regarding the Senate elections, he said that the ANP has few candidates, so they have not nominated anyone yet. We are trying to win five seats from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
