ISLAMABAD. Senior politician from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Noor Alam Khan has said that the terrorism that is happening in Pakistan is being sponsored by the external forces. There are external hands behind the terrorism in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Senior politician Noor Alam Khan expressed these views in an exclusive conversation with the Pakhtun Digital here in Islamabad on Thursday.
He said that the wave of terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan has created serious concern, which is becoming difficult to control day by day.
He further said that the issue of terrorism needs to be resolved from a political perspective, because it is very unfortunate that our politicians only care about their chairs and are oblivious to public problems.
Noor Alam Khan said that all political parties should come together and have a serious discussion on this issue. After the 18th Amendment, all powers have been given to the provinces, but terrorism could not be handed over to the army alone, for this, the police, Special Branch, IB and other institutions will have to work together.
He added that the Parliament should also play its due role in this matter and call an emergency meeting so that an effective strategy can be prepared to eliminate terrorism. No clear steps have been taken in a year, they are only limited to playing cards. No one talks about the problems of the people, only the game of personal interests is going on.
In final remarks, he said “We all have to think about the country keeping our interests aside, otherwise the situation will get worse.
