Pakistan Accuses India of “Fake Encounters,”  extra judicial killings of civilians fisherman’s following the Pehlgam incidents.

Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar on Friday accused India of conducting “fake encounters” in occupied Kashmir, claiming Indian forces abducted and killed civilians, including Altaf Lali in Bandipora and two others in Uri. He cited the Pahalgam incident’s FIR — filed 10 minutes post-event — as proof of India’s “panic.”

Tarar condemned India’s alleged state terrorism in Kashmir and warned against altering the Indus Water Treaty, stressing, “Water is Pakistan’s lifeline.” He referenced India’s 2019 Pulwama incident as a pretext to revoke Kashmir’s autonomy and vowed Pakistan would counter any aggression, recalling the 2019 return of an Indian pilot as a “gesture of peace.”

The minister claimed India aims to “play the victim” while sponsoring terrorism, asserting Pakistan holds the “upper hand” in the narrative war.
