Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), strongly condemned a blast at a mosque in South Waziristan on Monday, calling it a violation of the sanctity of Ramadan and the mosque itself.
In a statement, Rehman described the attack as “regrettable and condemnable,” emphasizing that such acts of violence during the holy month of Ramadan are particularly egregious.
He urged the government and relevant institutions to address the nation regarding the deteriorating law and order situation, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces.
Rehman also criticized the lack of attention given to the unrest in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan in both houses of parliament, stating that these critical issues are being ignored.
