PESHAWAR: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) claimed to have arrested two alleged human traffickers who are involved in sending Afghan nationals to Italy on fake Pakistani documents.
Acting on tip-off from its Italy link office, a FIA team raided Waziristan Plaza in Saddar, Peshawar and arrested two human smugglers. The arrested agents have been identified as Shafiullah and Khurshid. The accused were involved in sending Afghan citizens to Italy on fake Pakistani passports.
During the interrogation, it was also revealed that they were sending Afghanistan nationals on fake Pakistan travelling documents to Saudi Arabia via Kabul.

The FIA team recovered 15 Pakistani passports and mobile phones from their possession during the raid. Information related to Pakistani and Afghan passports and other evidence were also recovered from the mobile phones of the suspects, it was added.
The FIA has registered cases against them and started further investigation against the suspects.
