KARACHI: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Anti-Corruption Circle conducted a successful operation in the Old City area of Karachi, seizing a large consignment of smuggled and prohibited foreign medicines.
According to reports, the seized medicines are valued at over Rs 5 million and were reportedly being supplied to various stores and markets across the city. FIA officials confiscated all illegal stock found at the scene.
FIA warned that the smuggled and unregistered medicines posed a serious threat to public health. The FIA has taken the medicines into custody and launched an investigation.

Further raids against those involved in the smuggling ring are expected.
