Two young brothers were swept away in a rain drain in the Malam Jabba area of Sur Dherai. According to rescue officials, the water rescue team promptly responded to the incident. During the rescue operation, the body of Afwanullah, son of Hayatullah, was recovered from near the rain drain. The search is ongoing for his brother, Mohsin, who is estimated to be only 5 to 6 months old.
Local residents and police are joining the rescue team in this effort.
In a separate incident due to heavy rains, the roof of a house collapsed in the Gujjar Bund Shinko area of Madin. Tragically, three children lost their lives, identified as 11-year-old Madina Bibi, 8-year-old Mustafa, and 4-year-old Musa. Additionally, a woman sustained injuries during the collapse and is currently receiving treatment in critical condition at the Civil Hospital Madin. As soon as the control room received the information about the roof collapse, the rescue team arrived swiftly to assist and ensure the safety of those affected. All individuals buried under the rubble were rescued and transported to the hospital.
