Six students, including the driver of a private school van, were injured when an assailant opened fire at the van in the Kuza Banda area of Battagram district.
According to a police official, the school van was coming from the Pirwahari area when it was attacked.
He says five students and the Driver of the van were injured in the incident.
Gul Nabi adds that the injured have shifted to the district headquarters hospital in Battagram, while one was critical and has been referred to Ayub Medical Complex in Abottabad.
He says the motive behind the incident was personal enmity between the attacker and the van driver.
He explains that FIR is being lodged and efforts for the arrest of the suspect are underway, and police have deployed in the area.
