According to the Punjab Disaster Management Authority, more than 1.46 million people have been affected by severe flooding in the Ravi, Chenab and Sutlej rivers and 1,692 villages have been submerged. The PDMA says that 25 deaths have been reported in Punjab due to floods so far and it is feared that the number of victims will increase further. Punjab is on high alert until this water enters Sindh and the Sindh government has already been informed. So far, more than 265,000 people have been shifted to safer places. The report said that 991 villages were submerged in the Chenab, while 395 in Sialkot, 127 in Jhang, 124 in Multan, 48 in Chiniot, 66 in Gujrat, 51 in Khanewal, 45 in Hafizabad, 41 in Sargodha, 35 in Mandi Bahauddin and 19 villages in Wazirabad were affected. Due to the release of water by India and heavy rains, the Ravi, Chenab and Sutlej rivers overflowed, causing floods in Punjab, many districts were submerged and standing crops were destroyed, while livestock were killed in the floods.

According to PDMA Punjab, a crack was made near the Rawaz Bridge in view of the flood in the Chenab River to save Jhang city. The suburban area of ​​Mohlanwal was also submerged, and water entered several housing societies. Deputy Commissioner Lahore Musa Raza says that this water in the Ravi River Currently, a flood of 211,000 cusecs is flowing, and the water flow will further decrease in the next 10 hours.

On the other hand, due to the overflowing of the Ravi, many villages around Lahore were submerged, while water also entered some suburban areas. Safe evacuation has been completed from Theme Park, Mohlanwal, Mureedwal, Farrukhabad, Shafiqabad, Afghan Colony, New Matter City and Chohang area. According to PDMA Punjab, a large flood in the Chenab River is moving towards Chiniot, Jhang and Trimon.

The water flow at Marala of the Chenab River was recorded at 116,000 cusecs and the water flow at Khanki Head Works was 184,000 cusecs. The water flow at Qadirabad was 185,000 cusecs. A large flood wave is passing over Chiniot Bridge. The flow of water at Chiniot Bridge in the Chenab River is 855,000 cusecs. The flow of water at Blocki Headworks is 164,000 cusecs and is increasing.

The flow of water at Ganda Singh Wala in the Sutlej is 333,000 cusecs and the flow is increasing. Provincial Disaster Management Authority Director General Irfan Ali Kathia has said that 80,000 cusecs of water is continuously coming from Madhupur Headworks from India, which will pass through Lahore Shahdara and then reach Chiniot and then Rewaz Bridge. According to the DG PDMA, more than 200,000 cusecs of water has been flowing in the Sutlej River near Kasur for the last four days, due to which the situation at Sulemanki is becoming dangerous.
