ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on Sunday to discuss the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza.
During the call, Dar reiterated Pakistan’s steadfast support for the Palestinian people and underscored the urgent need for immediate and unhindered humanitarian access to the affected population.
He also expressed hope that the upcoming high-level international conference on Palestine, scheduled for Monday in New York, would lead to meaningful progress toward the implementation of the two-state solution.
Both leaders further discussed the possibility of an upcoming high-level Iranian visit to Pakistan.
