Former provincial president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and former minister Nawabzada Mohsin Ali Khan met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad, during which he announced his decision to join the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) along with his son, Shehryar, and close associates.

Engineer Amir Muqam, the PML-N President for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Federal Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs, was also present during the meeting.

Welcoming Nawabzada Mohsin Ali Khan to the PML-N, the Prime Minister expressed hope that he would actively promote the party’s manifesto in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and strengthen public relations.

The Prime Minister reiterated his commitment to taking all possible steps for the promotion of peace and development in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and for the welfare of its people.

Additionally, it’s worth noting that this month, another significant political figure from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also left his party to join the PML-N. On July 9, former Awami National Party (ANP) leader and Member of National Assembly Samar Haroon Bilour formally announced his switch to the PML-N during a meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, which was also attended by Engineer Amir Muqam.
