According to the ISPR, in the fierce exchange of fire, Sepoy Basit Siddique-23, a resident of Attock district, lost his life while fighting bravely.
As a result of the operation, arms and ammunition were also recovered from the possession of terrorists. The terrorist group was active in several terrorist activities in the area.
A sanitisation operation is underway to completely clean the area so that other possibly hidden elements can also be eliminated.
The ISPR has made it clear that the security forces are determined to uproot the scourge of terrorism from the country, and the sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen this resolve.
