KASUR: Funeral prayers in absentia were offered in Khudian Khas, Kasur, for the Pakistani nationals martyred in recent acts of Indian aggression.
The ceremony, held at Government High School Khudian Khas, drew a large gathering including Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan, Minister of State Malik Rasheed Ahmad Khan, MPA Malik Saeed Ahmad Khan, senior military officers, civil bureaucrats, police officials, and thousands of local residents.
Special prayers were held to honour the martyrs of the Pakistan Armed Forces and the nation. Messages of national unity and solidarity with the bereaved families were shared, along with supplications for peace and national security.
Addressing the gathering, Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan affirmed, “The people of Pakistan will never forget their martyrs. We will always honor their sacrifices.” He added that those who give their lives for the country’s defence are its true heroes.
