ABBOTTABAD: In a proactive move to ensure seamless services and a pleasant experience for visitors during the peak tourist season, the Galiyat Development Authority (GDA) has cancelled all staff leaves. The directive ensures that all officers and support personnel remain available at their respective posts across various tourist destinations in the Galiyat region.
GDA Director General Shahrukh Ali stated that, given the expected influx of a large number of tourists, the authority has taken comprehensive measures to enhance visitor facilitation. Dedicated tourist facilitation canters have been set up at key locations, where trained staff and tourism police will be available round the clock to assist visitors and address any concerns.
“To ensure comfort and convenience for tourists, public washrooms across Galiyat have been reactivated and upgraded. Cleanliness is a key focus,” said Shahrukh Ali. He also urged the public to maintain hygiene and cooperate with authorities. Tourists are encouraged to report any issues directly to the facilitation canters for prompt resolution.
“Providing top-quality services to tourists is our top priority,” the DG emphasized. “We are utilizing all available resources to ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all visitors.”
The GDA’s initiative reflects its commitment to promoting tourism in the Galiyat region while maintaining public amenities and ensuring visitor satisfaction.
