Girls clinch top positions in BISE Swat SSC exams

The Swat Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Swat has announced the results of the Matriculation Annual Examinations for 2025. The results highlighted outstanding performance from female students, who dominated the top overall positions.

Kashmala Habib, daughter of Habibullah and a student at Al-Azhar Education Institute in Panad Mingora, secured first place in the Swat Board by achieving 1177 marks out of 1200. The second position was claimed by Azlan Ali Shah, a student from Cadet College Swat, with a score of 1175 marks. Amir Zeb Amir took third place with 1172 marks.

In the general group, female students again excelled, with Saman Bibi from Government Girls High School, Chengali, achieving the highest score of 1043 marks. Sada Gul from Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Brikot secured second place with 1041 marks, while Samreen Bibi, a private student from Shangla district, came in third with 1013 marks.

In the science group for class IX, out of 43985 candidates, 20664 were declared successful, resulting in a success rate of 46.89 per cent. For the science group in class X, the success rate was significantly higher at 79.24 per cent.

Overall, from a total of 97019 students in classes IX and X, 57029 were declared successful, leading to an overall success rate of 58.78 per cent.
