Girls secure top positions in Peshawar SSC exams

The Peshawar Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has announced the results of the 2025 annual examinations of classes 9 and 10. According to the documents, a total of 91,589 students participated in the matriculation examinations, out of which 14,530 students failed, while 76,484 were declared successful. Thus, the overall pass rate of matriculation was 83.5%. On the other hand, 101,888 students participated in the 9th class examinations, out of which 61,753 were successful, while 38,907 were declared failed in various papers. The pass rate of class 9 was 98.8%. However, according to the documents, the failed students of class 10 have been promoted to the next class. According to the data, 35,017 students participated in the 9th class, while 31,722 students participated in the matriculation examinations. According to the results, Fatima Jagno of Peshawar Model School Girls Branch 2 secured the first position in the Matric Science Group with 1180 marks. Sara Imran of the same institution secured the second position with 1178 marks, while Shumaila secured the third position with 1176 marks. The position holders also include Aina Shoaib of Peshawar Model School Girls Branch, Dalzak Road, who secured the third position with 1176 marks.
