Gold per tola breaks record, reaches Rs 325,500

Gold prices in Pakistan surged to an all-time high on Thursday, continuing an upward trend in the domestic market.

According to the Sindh Sarafa Bazaar Association, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs 500, reaching a historic peak of Rs 325,500. Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold increased by Rs 428, settling at Rs 279,063.

Market analysts attribute the persistent rise in gold prices to global economic uncertainty, fluctuations in international markets, and a weaker rupee against the US dollar. Investors and traders remain cautious as gold continues to be a preferred safe-haven asset amid inflationary pressures.
