Gold prices saw a sharp rise in both global and local markets on Wednesday.
In the international market, gold increased by 30,reaching3,040 per ounce.
This surge impacted local prices as well.
In Pakistan, the price of gold per tola jumped by Rs3,000, closing at Rs321,000.
Similarly, ten grams of gold rose by Rs2,572 to Rs275,205.

This comes after a drop on Tuesday, when gold per tola had fallen by Rs2,000 to Rs318,000.
Meanwhile, silver prices also climbed, with per tola silver rising by Rs3,170.
