The price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs. 800, selling at Rs. 308,700 on Tuesday compared to Rs. 309,500 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs. 686, settling at Rs. 264,660 from Rs. 265,346. The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also fell by Rs. 629, reaching Rs. 243,613 from Rs. 243,242.
In the silver market, the price per tola declined by Rs. 45 to Rs. 3,350, while the price of 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs. 38 to Rs. 2,872.

Internationally, gold prices dropped by $8, falling to $2,940 from $2,948. Silver prices in the global market also decreased by $0.40, settling at $32.20, the association reported.
