Gold prices in Pakistan dropped sharply on Wednesday, with the rate per tola falling by Rs 11,700 to settle at Rs 352,000, according to the Sindh Sarafa Bazaar Jewelers Association. The price of 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs 10,031, reaching Rs 31,783.
This decline follows two consecutive days of increases: gold had risen by Rs 5,900 on Tuesday and Rs 8,100 on Monday, reflecting ongoing volatility in the domestic bullion market.
