Gold prices rise for second straight day

The trend of rising gold prices in the country continues, with a significant increase recorded today. According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold rose by Rs 1,000 per tola on Wednesday, reaching a new level of Rs 361,700. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold increased by Rs 857, bringing its new rate to Rs 310,099.

In the global market, the value of gold has also seen an uptick, with gold trading at $3,390 per ounce, an increase of $10. Experts indicate that gold has long been regarded as a safe investment, especially during times of economic and political uncertainty. This is why investors tend to turn to gold when other investment options appear unstable.
