ISLAMABAD: The per tola rate of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs.1,400 and was sold at Rs.347,200 as compared to its sale at Rs.348,600 on the last day.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs 1,200 and was sold at Rs 297,668 against the sale price of Rs 298,868, and 10 grams of 22-karat gold also decreased to Rs 272,872 from Rs 273,972.
Silver rates also registered a decline, as the per tola price dropped by Rs.24 to Rs.3,456 from Rs.3,480. The price of 10 grams of silver also slipped by Rs.21 and was sold at Rs.2,962 against Rs.2,983.
In the international market, the price of gold fell by $14 to $3,288 from $3,302, while silver also saw a minor decrease of $0.24 to $32.98.
