KARACHI: A day after touching an all-time high, gold rates once again set a new record in both Pakistan and the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs1,200 on Friday, reaching Rs377,900. Likewise, the price of 10 grams increased by Rs1,029 to Rs323,988.

In the global market, gold climbed by $12 per ounce, hitting $3,552.
Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan remained unchanged for the second straight day, with 24-karat silver steady at Rs4,315 per tola and Rs3,699 per 10 grams.
