The price of gold in Pakistan surged to an all-time high, with the cost per tola rising by Rs 10,000 to reach Rs 338,800, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs 8,573, settling at Rs 290,466.
In the international market, gold also reached a historic peak, with prices climbing to $3,212 per ounce. Over the past two days, gold per tola has seen a cumulative increase of Rs 17,800, and analysts anticipate further hikes in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal emphasized the urgent need to build a strong national brand and identity for Pakistan to enhance its global standing.
