Gold took a hit as prices plunged in the local markets in Pakistan and global markets on Wednesday.
Following a sharp downturn in the international market, a significant drop in gold prices has been recorded in local bullion markets across the country.
The price of gold per tola has decreased by Rs 3,400, bringing it down to Rs 345,800. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has fallen by Rs 2,915 to Rs 296,467.
In the international bullion market, gold per ounce has dropped by $34, now standing at $3,276.
Silver prices have also declined. The price of silver per tola has decreased by Rs 70 to Rs 3,427, while the price of 10 grams of silver has dropped by Rs 60 to Rs 2,938.
The gold prices went up yesterday. However, on Wednesday, the gold prices significantly dropped.
