PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Adviser Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif has said that through 26th constitutional amendment government have paralyzed the justice system of the country saying that keeping PTI founder Imran Khan in solitary confinement will not shake his resolve.
He called this action “another failed attempt by a fake government.” In a released statement, Barrister Saif said that the 26th Constitutional Amendment has paralyzed the judiciary. According to him, despite court orders, neither Imran Khan’s family nor party leaders are being allowed to meet him, which is a clear violation of constitutional and legal requirements.
Barrister Saif said the current government has chained the country’s justice system with the 26th Amendment for temporary political gain, severely affecting the autonomy of state institutions. He alleged that this amendment has caused irreparable damage to the nation.
He further stated that Imran Khan and other PTI leaders are prisoners of conscience who cannot be bought with power, pressure, or the hardships of imprisonment.
Barrister Saif asserted in unequivocal terms that Imran Khan will neither become part of any deal nor leave the country. According to him, “Imran Khan will fight for his nation’s true freedom till the last drop of his blood; he is not someone like Nawaz Sharif or Asif Zardari who seeks refuge abroad.”
He labeled the current government as fake and lacking public mandate, claiming it has pushed the country to the brink of economic, constitutional, and democratic collapse.
